“Back in 1988 I had a yearning to volunteer in our community but had no idea how or where to go. That’s when my friend asked me to join WGAC (then JWCC). She told me about the volunteer opportunities and then she said “Oh and we have a Golf Classic” to which I responded “where do I sign up” not knowing at the time how being involved with our Golf Classic would enrich my life and bless me with lifelong friends. Our club taught me and encouraged me in so many ways and I am forever blessed to be a part of this wonderful community of women.”

Margaret Claflin

“As a two-time president and a member for over 30 years, I am privileged to work with these exceptional women who share my interest in positive change for our community while we enjoy growing in friendship.”

Cathy Buschko

“As a 21 year old I joined this organization as a way to get more involved with my community. Fast forward 20 years and these ladies have been there for me through major life events like marriage, children and job changes. Not only have my eyes been opened to so many wonderful organizations in our community, but I’ve made lifelong friends with so many of these amazing women.

Joining WGAC

Joining WGAC

Thanks for considering joining us! We're proud of our community work and the funds we raise, but just as important is the time we spend together as a group of positive, like-minded women gathering socially.

As a 501c3, we have some obligations and by-laws, but we keep things as simple as possible. We want everyone to feel welcome at WGAC. We have mentors for each new member, so if you don't already know someone in the club who can mentor you, a volunteer mentor will help guide you and be a friendly face as you get acclimated.
